Just a thought to share about faith and trust

I was reading this verse while doing quiet time...
mark chap 4 verse 38 to 40 "Jesus Himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion; and they woke Him and said to Him, 'Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?' And He got up and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, 'Hush, be still." And the wind died down and it became perfectly calm. And he said to them, 'Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?"

I recalled there was once, i brought a friend to church....he is a non-christian..
Before and throughout the whole service, i was so so worried...i was so worried that God will not touch his heart and open it...i was so worried that he will not come again...i was worried that he will feel uncomfortable in church..
I was worried about this and that...so so many worries!

My best friend Leng Shan told me to place everything into God's hands and to trust in him...
i said i did! but i just stop myself from worrying!
i told her it is just like you going into an exam...you tell yourself to place everything in God hands and tell yourself not to fear cause God is here...
But, you will just fear de...

i realised through this verse that if one really have the faith and the trust to believe that God can do anything and everything, you wouldn't be scared at all...cause you are placed in good hands...
It is just like if you really trust that someone to do something for you and that that person will do it for you de kind, you wouldn't be worrying that that person won't do it for you right?
You will be able to focus fully on doing other things..

I can only just keep praying and asking God for patience with me that he can help me to grow the trust in him...and really have total faith in him...
