It has been a long time ever since i posted something...hahaha=)
Erm...today i would like to touch on the topic of halloween!
How many of you are like preparing for the coming halloween? Buying costumes and sweets to celebrate this festive season?
I just watched tv and the night safari (i think) is advertising for halloween! they have something like a haunted house but is open door kind...got people dressed very scarily walking around (like long haired girl, bloody mummy)...they even hire ppl to paint statues and make them to bloody and real! just like hell! whereby ppl are killed hands cut off..etc...it is so so gory!
I used to think that halloween is just a "for fun" thing...it is just like any festive season for ppl to have fun!
Then i realise that it is not like that...
There was one friend that told me not to celebrate halloween...
She say it is not a good thing...
Halloween is actually celebrating and promoting the devil's victory as well as the demons present on earth!
Why would any sane person celebrate it when many are afraid of "ghost" (they are demons sent from hell to corrupt the earth)- because we believe that when non-christians die, they can never come out of hell...onli demons can.
I know that many of you do not know about this...and i am seriously not encouraging anyone to celebrate halloween...
The next thing i would like to talk about is men's praises VS God's praises.
I am sure ALL of us love to be praised by men!
How many of us do things just to flaunt your capability, beauty, personality, achievements..etc?
Even i fall into this trap sometimes=(
matthew chap 6 verse 1 "Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your father in heaven"
As for the christians, how many of us do things not to please God but to show others that you are devoted to him?
How many of us Pray, Sing before God just for show?
How many of us pray for the sake of praying? sing for the sake of singing? being afraid of being excluded?
Every Sun we go to church...how many of us go there because of God not men (friends)?
matthew chap 6 verse 5 "when you pray, you shall not be like hypocrites. For they love to pray standing and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men."
I feel that it is good to recieve praises by men, however, the focus is not the praises by men, but the praises from God.
There is no need to purposely show others as to what you can do but to be humble...
God sees the hearts of ppl and everyone is unique in his eyes=)
Oh! i just rmb something...hahaha:)
do you know that the bible is a super duper old book?
it is amazing how the bible can be passed down from such a long time! i think about 2000 years!
Don't you think God's power is amazing?
And, do you know that the bible is the only book that state that Jesus is God?
Even the budda do not claim himself as God! These includes so so many other religion!
so way are people worshipping things that are not God? hmmm...

Righteousness and evengelism
This is what is bring preached by Pastor Ronald on sun!
matthew chap 5 verse 6 "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be satisfied."
Righteousness has two meanings 1) Being hungry and thirsty for God to be vindicated
(revealed)
2) Being hungry and thirsty for righteousness to be present
our hearts.
As we grow more and more in God, you will come to realise that you will be more sensitive to the small little sins that you do and you will feel guilty of it...These are sins that you will not have noticed before!
As for me, at first sins like jay walking (which is like my daily lifestyle whenever i leave the house) becomes more and more noticed and taken note of...i have no idea why, but whenever i jaywalk just to catch the bus now, i will feel super duper guilty and unhappy for the rest of the day! it is just so unlike me before...
Have you grown in christ?
If you think that you do not sin and you are doing fine cause didn't murder or steal or anything, try to think about the things you do daily eg. gossips....i am telling you that all do sin! and God do see the degree of your sin...like for example, when you disrespect your parents is = to murder.
The one big big thing that all Christians should pray for is revival! Revival to occur in schools, friends, family members, everywhere! For God's glory to be revealed!
Do you rmb in my previous posts, i said that i feel like praying for problems and troubles to happen in my friend's lives? so that they would have no choice but to turn towards God? i thought i was like super evil or something...but according to Pastor Ronald, It is good! Cause it shows that one is desperate for ppl to be saved and really draw close to God!
God places problems in your lives to bring us closer to him! Rmb to thank him for that=) If not,
many will drift away...
Many christians today pray for their own personal needs always...everything is about themselves and themselves only..."Lord, i want to score well, i want to have a car..etc" everything is about what "I" want...
I feel that if one is a true christian, the focus should not be on what i want but on what others need...
Another indication to see whether you have grown in christ or whether you have a passion for him is the question of whether you would feel sad or even up to the point of crying when you see your friends unsaved? This sadness cannot be forced out...
(this links back to the need to evengelise)
Some christians may feel ashamed or even fear to talk about God to their friends or family members...I ever once felt this way too! Always think that God will be there to keep everything under control and if you really love those who are close to you, you would want to share the good news with them! Lets just say like if you find a restaurant that sells great and cheap food! Wouldn't you be excited to share the good stuff with them? Wouldn't you want them to experiece what you have experienced? It is the same logic as to be enthusiastic about sharing the gospel and talking about christ!
Another thing that encourage me is that i always ask myself...do i fear God more than man? or men more than God? My answer will always be i fear God more then man, so i share!
Something that i learnt about evengelism is that you need not be the one that converts your friend into becoming a christian...you need not be the one that transform them...
As long as you share, you may be this little link that links to the rest of the chain before your friend becomes a christian.
I feel that as long as we christians work together as one and everyone overcome their fear to share, many will be saved!
Oh! one good advantage to share with your family members is that they have to listen to you no matter what....as in, you will not lose them just because you share the gospel or anything because they are your loved ones!
Some impt points are for those who are like me...always using the more direct approach....
I learnt a lesson from it that i have to build a closer and more improved relationship with the person before i share the gospel with them...even though i am very excited and desperate to sharre, there is no need to scare ppl away when you talk about christ to the non-christians all the time....this way, it will be a lost instead..
It will also be easier to share the gospel one to one then in a group...because, if you are in a group, when one rebutts you, the rest will follow...which is what i had experienced before...
Use stories to attract other's attention...it would be better if you share using your own personal testimonial as they cannot rebutt nor say that it didn't occur=)
Some ppl may ask, but how do i know when to share?
For me, i feel that as long as you feel something prompting you that you should share the gospel, just share it! Don't think so much as to how will ppl react later, what would they say...etc...
Trust me, the more you think, the more you wouldn't share=)
Evengelism should be like every christian's lifestyle.
Lastly, always pray to God for strength and the courage..
For those who think that they do not have the righteousness, pray for it! God will give it to you!

You've got a personality!
This is something that i have learnt and read from the notes during the P6 camp...
I want to provide encouragement to those who feel that they cannot fit in and those that transform and change themselves just to fit in in whatever circumstances...
I know that there are quite a no. of people who hide their true personality because of the fact that they are afraid that others may not accept them for who they are....
Some may even change their personality just to suit others and please them to get into a certain group of friends...
Characteristics and personality are two different things,
Characteristics affects the way we act, think, and feel.
Personality affects your entire life- decision making, leisure, and response to situations, expression of feelings and your relationship with others...
We are all different. Just take a quick look around you and you will discover that there is none like you! There is no 'right' or 'wrong' personality. God designs each of us to have different personalities. No one is an accident, even if your personality is "weird". Hence, you do not have to copy or other people's personality or even change your personality just to please ppl. God did not create ppl to please you, or you to please others. God created you to please himself!
If you feel that ppl outcast you just because you show your true personality, those are not your true friends true friends will learn to accept you being yourself.
The different personalities include being outgoing/reserved, Self-expressive/self-controlled, Cooperative/competitive..etc...Also, how you respond to different opportunities and situations...
Always rmb that everyone has a unique combination of different personality tendencies. We are each different from others -God did not use a cookie cutter to mould all of us!
So i do hope anyone of you out there can learn something from this or even use it to encourage those who are in these situations of hiding their true self..
Show case your true self!! Jia you!

Hell, fear of sharing the gospel
There was once, i was eating fish soup with my group of friends, and it was real hot!
And we were all like sweating while eating the hot soup...
I said "wah! it is like so hot!"
Then one of my friend (non-christian) said " Yar! so hot until i feel like dying!"
Then this thought just came into mind " If you think here is hot, then what about hell?! it is so so hot and whats more, you can never die but to suffer eternal pain and hotness!"
hahaha=) guess what is my reply?
I said "i wanna go heaven! cause there is so so much cooler!" hahaha=) cause i don't wanna be so direct and head straight into the topic of hell...
I cannot give you any further info about hell (because i haven't been there and wouldn't want to be), but you should search on youtube for those that have been into hell, either brought in by God, or they had near death experiences...Bill Wiese's testimony, or even search for ppl being brought to hell, near death experiences.
There was one period of time, i was really scared to share the gospel as i had several religious attacks and stuff (i think it was the beginning of this year)...
Also, i was so scared to stop ppl from saying all the things mentioned in my first post for fear that i will lose friends because i ever lose a friend because she find me too irritating to keep on stopping her from doing and saying stuff...
However, i wanna encourage those christians out there to never like really NEVER stop sharing the gospel! You will never know, a soul can thus be saved to impact the rest! For those who have similar fears that i had, i urge you to just continue on...and PRAY for strength from God...it works!
My church friends like Phui See, Edith and Cheryl encouraged me once...
They said that it is a good thing to face persecutions from ppl...infact, it is a good thing! because jesus was persecuted too!!!
John chap 17 verse 14 "I have given them your Word; and the world hated them because they are not of the world, just as i am not of the world."
They also mentioned that if your friends are your true friends and they really love you, they would want to listen to you...
It is better to have lesser friends that are true then to have more friends that are untrue...
i think that it is quite true, and there is no need to fear that you will have no true friends because God will take are of everything! Then, tiffany came out of the midst to lend a helping hand in class for my case....cool right? it is like God provided kind of thing!
So, always place your trust in the Lord and i am sure that all your fears and problems will be solved! there is a song named as complete and one line goes like this..."i know your love dispends all my fears!" yeah! it comforts me alot!
Do you know that survey shows that an average person complains at least 5 times a day!
Are you going to be those or be the exceptions? Count the no. of times you are unhappy with the things in life...and think about them=)
Oh! you know, leng shan (my bestest friend) is like very nice...she is willing to like give up watching movie with the saltshakers to watch with me la! nice right? Somemore watching movie with me is like not confirm when...she somemore called to ask me whether i want her to watch with me annot before replying the saltshakers!

Swearing and forgiveness
Today, i would just like to talk about what happened in school and what i have learnt from it=)
Oh! i was super duper angry like seriously VERY angry in school...
I became like super quiet...cause i just don't feel like talking..need to cool down...
Know why?
cause i had some argument with my friends about christianity and other religion...
It all started off when one of my friends said she was going to the temple (and yesterday she told me that she believe in christ)...
Hmmm...so i just told her say that she shouldn't go to these kind of places..
And my other friend (who is a christian) added on saying about the first commandment as to not to worship idols...and i agreed and said that it is wrong to do that la...
After that my other friends (non-christians) rebutted me and say that i cannot say that a particular religion is wrong....then i realised that i was wrong...what hurts me the most was that one friend said "How do you know the story of Jesus is real?" then i said there are several evidences that can be seen today! like the noah's ark that is being found, the red sea that split into two whereby charriots are found in the large crack as scientists can tell exactly where it split" then she said "i hate ppl who are like that, even if you got evidences..." (referring to me..)
Evidences? issit it enough to prove that the bible is true?
Don't you think that it is kinda funny that people try to look for things that can be seen today and do not believe it..
So i just kept quiet and thought about stuff...the reason why i said all those was because i was desperate! desperate for ppl to get saved...but, they wouldn't understand...
Then after that, that particular friend keep on swearing like "i swear this, i swear that..." i told her nicely to not swear, and she said " why? then use what you tell me? swearing is like an assurance.." i told her to use other words like "i promise or even just a simple yes" but she wasn't listening..but continued swearing...it breaks my heart even more...
I mean, if you just keep on swearing. will ppl believe you? isn't it the same as saying yes? if one do not lie, ppl will believe him with just a simple yes.
Somemore, the night before i was reading this verse from mathew chapter 5 verse 34 to 37 " But i say to you, do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is God's throne; "Nor by the earth, for it is His footstool; nor by Jerusalem, for it is God's throne; "Nor by the earth, for it is His footstool; Nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King. "Nor shall you swear by your head, because you cannot make one hair white or black. But let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No,' 'No.' For whatever is more than these is from the evil one."
Pastor ronald once mentioned that what is the point to keep on swearing? lets just say man A and man B...
man A say "i swear by my house" man B, "i swear by my land!" man A " i swear by the mountains!" man B "i swear by the earth!".....etc... Don't you think that it will never end when actually you can just say a simple yes or no...
I got this friend, she is a non-christian...i have been praying for her to get promoted...and i told her that she will get promoted by God's grace!
Today, she was telling us how she hope to get promoted, i got this thought....
i feel that God is really so so great, he would even help the non-christians even thought they do not acknowledge him and many think that it is luck...
I mean, if i am God, i wouldn't help someone without that person acknowledging it...i think he just loves the people too too much and i want to be like him!
Oh! i was telling you about how angry i am rmb? hahaha
i smsed my best friend Leng Shan, and she said this " Jesus does not get angry easily...well...must love your enemies!" God also placed another verse into my mind john chap 14 verse 1 "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in me" then i realise that i cannot because of my desperateness then break a friendship...i need to take it step by step and leave everything to God=) So, i need to love everyone!
You know, i just feel so so happy and blessed to have friends like Leng Shan to be right beside me, guiding me and helping me in my christian walk=) Love ya! MUACKS!

Exams!! plus thoughts
This is written for those who got their results or are even taking the exams!
I just want to encourage my classmates serena, kai ling and rozanne...
Don't worry about anything! If you trust in the lord like i do, i am sure he has his reasons in doing everything..and i am very sure that his plan for your life will be so much better then the plans that you yourself plan! Trust me! i know many of you all work very hard for this promotional exam, but i am sure that no matter how hard you work, if God wants you to pass, you will pass!
If you wish to find someone to talk to for encouragement or even a listening ear, you can always call or even sms me!=)
I would like to pray that God will give you the neccessery encouragement and comfort that you need, as long as you pray and believe in him...
As for those who are currently taking their examinations, O or even A lvls, i would like to encourage you and provide you with a verse that tiffany shared with me...
Philippians chap 4 verse 6-7 "Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; And the peace of God which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ"
I hope that this verse will really provide you with comfort!
Oh! btw, the bible say like mulitple times of do not be anxious!
Hmmm..i just wanna thank God so so much! like seriously! cause i dunno...don't you think life becomes so so free with God around to be able to shoulder all your burdens, worries and fears?

oh! a thought came into my mind during school hours while talking to serena...
In good times, when ppl are happy, they will praise God and love him and really really thank him like lots!!
However, in the bad times, it is so so difficult to love God and thank him...
In my experience, i found out that many of the christians backslide because of all these problems they face in life and they just do not have the passion for God anymore...
This is because, they do not see the big picture that God sees...(for all those who take econs, i am talking about the long run benefits and successes)
Thats why, i fear that my friends or even anyone will just hate God because they cannot obtain their personal goals at the moment!
You know, there is one encounter when i went into IMH (institute of mental health), there was this girl, she was a christian before...she was there because she suffered from depression and start to cut herself when she face problems in life...her choice wasn't having a prayer or even to turn to God...the first question that i asked God is "God, why did you let her go?" then i realise that she wasn't very closely intune with God...if she is, she wouldn't have cut herself because she would have known that our body is considered as a temple of God and we really have to treasure it and not to abuse it.
Why called temple?
It is because God lives within us and he uses us to be a living testimony to others!
OH!! Do you know that when one becomes a christian, satan has to ask God for permittion first before he can attack us?! COOL RIGHT?!
hmmm..you may ask, then why God wants to let satan attack us? Ain't we his children?
God wants his children to stand strong for him and not just being a christian that dies off easily...
He wants to test our faith and to love him no matter what we face! Don't you think that if you are God, you would want to find out who truely loves you and who do not?
I feel that we have to thank God for all the troubles that we have and the problems that we encounter? Do you realise that when we face the different troubles like exams, family or even realtionship problems we will tend to run towards God? this will help us to strengthen the relationship with God!
My father ever once told me, why would you want to believe in God so that you can do the impossible and things that are beyond your own capabilities?
hmmm...i feel that why wouldn't you wanna experience the impossible and the things beyond your wildest dreams?
When you believe in God and make him as your one and only saviour, it is not just about doing the impossible...it is more about having a friend and helping one get through all the troubles of life!
Have you ever thought about what life is all about? i thought about it once when i was around 13 to 14? i asked my parents and relatives...and the answer that they give is "life is like a cycle, you live and then you die and then you recarnate"
In the past, i feel a sense of emptiness in my heart, like something is really missing...
i mean, like you just go to school everyday, come home, eat, sleep and watch tv like for 365 days in a year? As for the adults, you all just work, home, sleep, work, home, sleep? Is there any meaning in all this? These are things that i thought of...
As you know, i was from a buddist family and i couldn't feel anything nor gain any help from the budda...
When i got to know God and really draw closer to him, i realise that this emptiness in my heart is now being filled! i feel so much happier as a person and i started to talk alot and kinda loudly! (cause previously i am a very quiet and not very sociable). Once i got to know God, things change and all the burdens that i previously have just disappears! haha=)

I feel that i have changed from a very unhappy little girl with lots of complains to a joyful one!
And it is all because of God! He transformed me! yay!

Clothes We Wear
hmmm...just came back from school today, super tired..BUT i will never be tired of God! yeah!!
Today i would like to touch on the topic about clothes and i am sure that many will not like to hear these (cause truth hurts)..
Pastor Ronald ever once preached about this topic once...
Do you ever realise that the clothes that people wear today are getting lesser and lesser?
Pastor said that there is one city called naked city(i think this is the name) present now in new york.
This city, celebrates nakedness....they have restaurants that the waitresses and waiters wear clothes but the people who go there and eat do not...there was one lady that is being interviewed there and she said "this is a life transforming experience!". i mean, of course it is life transforming! you are eating without any clothe on!
Don't you think it is kinda gross?!
As satan controls over the earth, the world celebrates being naked when it is actually a sin!
Do you ever realise why one clothe?
The purpose of clothing is to cover up your body not to show off your body to the rest?!
You may think that i am very conservative or anything but i still want to take this stand!
The main reason why girls wear until so sexily is to show guys on the streets and to attract their attention! and being a world full of sin, guys will drool over all these!
Even retail outlets now sell clothes that are getting more and more revealing with lesser and lesser cloth...and we are getting influenced by all these sin that the world is committing, thinking that it is right!
Just think about it, don't you think that we should be more aware of what clothes that we choose to buy and to wear and not to fall into the world of sin?!
i am saying all these especially to all the girls....don't worry! there is still lots of space for improvements! And i will be here to cheer you on! God will be there for you too!!
I do hope that whatever i say will have an impact upon anyone's lives=)

Just a thought to share
Hmmmm...
i was thinking about ways to renew myself in God today while walking back home, this thought came into my mind...how would you know whether you really need God in your life?
It is when you don't have him by your side...it is when you stop all activities you do related to God and see whether you can survive without him! It is when you go through a period of trial...
If you do not love God enough, you will be able to survive very easily without him...Think about it...
I feel that as the economic recession is going about, and many are going through tough times in both their family and jobs, it is the MOST APPROPRIATE time to share the gospel and really pray for those who really needs a prayer! This will be a time to distinguish CHRISTIANS and NON-CHRISTIANS! this will be a time whereby lives can be saved and a revival will start out!!
We are the next generation! God is using us to become lawyers, doctors, students, people in the government, people in media and so so many other people in every field to save many others! IF we are willing to be used by him...
Also, EVERY single person can be used by him..and i believe that everyone has the ability to change the lives of others!

Hey Hey!! Just came back from P6 camp yesterday!
For all those who dunno what is going on, i am in charge of the p6s cause i serve the in Preteens ministry!! NOT BECAUSE I AM A P6 or anything...haha=)
It has been really great spending time with them and playing with them...they are really really fun ppl!
I slept for like only three hours for the first day cause the next day i had to go to school! (woke up at around 5.45!) and for the second, i slept at 4.30 (cause we where like playing tai ti between the girl and guy leaders). Oh! we ordered mac delivery too! it came at 2.45am...
There is one thing that i learnt from the p6s, i feel that they are so so untouched by God...Majority are just there because their parents are there...During worship, they do not worship whole heartedly, they do not really pray before they go to sleep, they just do not love God enough to understand this need to do so...i just pray that as they grow up, they will get closer and closer to God...
I went church 3 days in a row!!! (fri sat and sun!!). i really enjoy being there!
Paul goulet (a famous preacher from Las Vegas) came to our church(G1)...He is really Good i can tell you that....
And for the first time in my life, i felt the presence of the holy spirit when i went up to the alter call on fri night...
How does it feel? You may ask...
I just cannot stop myself from trembling and shaking even though i feel deep in my heart that i am at peace...
Paul also said " God will let you understand and see things that others do not understand no see!" i feel that it is kinda true, the closer i get to God, the more i morn for this society, for this world as more and more people sin and do not even know...
There was another pastor that held my hand and said "I sense God's word for you...."Grace and Forgiveness, Grace and Forgiveness!"
I ever once told tiffany that those who gets a chance to hear God's word multiple times but still do not believe, deserve to just perish!
I will also tend to dislike and hate those who rebutt me when i try to evengilise to them..thoughts like "Hello! i am trying to save your life! But you don't know how to appreciate it still come and rebutt me?!" i would never want to talk to friends and family members who does that ever again...
That was how i realise that i really need to forgive those...since God is Love, and he Loves everyone, i have to be more like him. When jesus was about to got crucified, he said " father, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing."
And there is ONE thing that struck me the most in the speech on Sat is that he said that he has NEVER heard of God speaking to him by his own ears...God speaks to him through thoughts!
God speaks to ppl in different and unique ways!
You know, as i see more and more people come to know the Lord and getting touched by the Holy spirit, i just feel so so super duper happy....when i see more and more people getting saved, and more and more praising God, i just feel extremely happy for them...
However, there is still a sense of saddness deep in my heart...WHY? cause i do not see any of my friends nor family whom i wanna save, there! i teared, because the people that i loved i care about are not standing next to me nor are at he alter...pls pray for my father and my grandma to be saved...
Also, i started to think, in the chapel, the people there only consists of less then 1% of the entire world population, there are so so many people unsaved!
One more learning point that struck me was that Paul, he prayed 25 years just to save his father! 25 YEARS! thats a long long time! But at the end, his father, a very stubborn man, got saved by the Lord...
So i believe that God can touch anyone's heart with an earnest prayer...and this requires time...and i will have to wait!
For those with similar situations like mine, DO NOT EVER GIVE UP!
There is a vision that tiffany was sharing about...she told me that she saw the whole class being saved by the Lord if we work together as one body! LIVES CAN BE CHANGED AND TRANSFORMED BY GOD! you will never know what can happen=)
I recommend you all to go and watch FACING THE GIANT movie, i feel that it is real good! it made me cry! it shows how amazing God is and that nothing is impossible for God!

Are you willing to Die for him?
Lets just say ok that one person points a gun at you...and he asks you " are you a christian or not?!" if you say you are you are going to get shot, if you say you are not one, you will not die...
what will YOU say?
Are you willing to die for christ just like he had died for you? or will you rather live on earth and betray the Lord? Think about it...
Hmmm..you know what i feel like doing? i feel like really looking into the other religions and really understand what they believe in and their culture and stuff...and i would like to start with buddism.
This way, it will be so much better to converse with them and rebutt them in their believe and to show them that Jesus is the ONE and ONLY true God! (there will be lesser misunderstandings too!)
my father (he is a buddist) once said to me "you are still young and inmature, you cannot understand the things that are going around the world...when you grow up you will know that your God does not really exist."
I want to show him that i am not young and inmature! hahaha=) although i like to be a child=)
He also said that "do you realise that buddism and chrisitian's proportion in Singapore is like half half kind of thing? And christians go around evengelising but buddist don't! so why is it that so many people still believe in buddism without them having to spread it?"
I answered" do you realise that christians are always the ones getting attacked by other religion which includes buddists?! lets just say the case in india(if i am not wrong) that christians had to hide in bushes as their churches gets burnt down by buddists...Don't you think that it is satan's work? as he tries to destroy the truth in the world?"
My father believes that whatever that goes wrong, satan is to be blamed...he believes that we create this satan thingy just to put all the blame away from God...i dunno how to answer him...i just say...no...it is the truth what! what do you expect us to say?
There is one particular reason why i love kids and children! cause i find them pure, innocent and simple minded.
Sometimes i feel that it is so so difficult to influence an adult cause they think too much! they make things and life so so complicated when it is actually very simple...

GOD IS AMAZING!
Have you ever thought about how amazing God is? well, i have!
WHY?! you may ask..
you know in the past, i was not a very strong and stable christian, i always wonder how come people get so touched by God dieing for ME kind of thing...i thought there is nothing great what..cause he is not sacrificing for ME ONLY...he is like sacrificing for so many millions and billions of ppl!
However, as i got stronger in the Lord, i start to feel touched....why?
Think about it...He is God leh...He is like the perfect one, the best!! the almighty...etc..haha=)
why is he willing to shed blood for us?! when we are like sinners, dirty, unclean...etc totally opp of him!
Lets just say if you were to create something...just like how God has created us, won't you want the thing that you created to love you and obey you?
God is willing to come down from his throne to get insulted by us whom God made! issn't he amazing?
I tell you! if i am God, i wouldn't have came down just to save all these sinful creatures! i mean why would i? just let them die la! (thank God i am not God ah:))
Don't you think God is amazing? He as a God and can just not do anything and leave the human beings to die, is willing to come down and suffer under part of satan's control as i said it in my first post about the earth controlled by satan. He knows that he will be persecuted for nothing, he knows that he will be mocked at, he knows that it will be a painful experience he knows that he will be betrayed! and he still came down and save us! it is JUST SO SO AMAZING as to what God can actually do just for us!=)
John chap 15 verse 14 and 15 "You are my friends if you do whatever i command you. No longer do i call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but i have called you friends, for all things that i heard from My father i have made known to you."
Don't you think that God is so good to make us his friends when he is the one that created us!
SHOULDN'T we take this opportunity to love him back and accept him as your personal lord and saviour? think about it....
WHY?! you may ask..
you know in the past, i was not a very strong and stable christian, i always wonder how come people get so touched by God dieing for ME kind of thing...i thought there is nothing great what..cause he is not sacrificing for ME ONLY...he is like sacrificing for so many millions and billions of ppl!
However, as i got stronger in the Lord, i start to feel touched....why?
Think about it...He is God leh...He is like the perfect one, the best!! the almighty...etc..haha=)
why is he willing to shed blood for us?! when we are like sinners, dirty, unclean...etc totally opp of him!
Lets just say if you were to create something...just like how God has created us, won't you want the thing that you created to love you and obey you?
God is willing to come down from his throne to get insulted by us whom God made! issn't he amazing?
I tell you! if i am God, i wouldn't have came down just to save all these sinful creatures! i mean why would i? just let them die la! (thank God i am not God ah:))
Don't you think God is amazing? He as a God and can just not do anything and leave the human beings to die, is willing to come down and suffer under part of satan's control as i said it in my first post about the earth controlled by satan. He knows that he will be persecuted for nothing, he knows that he will be mocked at, he knows that it will be a painful experience he knows that he will be betrayed! and he still came down and save us! it is JUST SO SO AMAZING as to what God can actually do just for us!=)
John chap 15 verse 14 and 15 "You are my friends if you do whatever i command you. No longer do i call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but i have called you friends, for all things that i heard from My father i have made known to you."
Don't you think that God is so good to make us his friends when he is the one that created us!
SHOULDN'T we take this opportunity to love him back and accept him as your personal lord and saviour? think about it....

Chrisitans or not!
Today i wanna touch the topic on christians...(it was suppose to be posted tmr...)
One of my friend ever told me on msn that there are countless no. of christians that do not behave like they should and are not as nice in their life everyday...
How many of us do actually follow out God's plan and at least try your very best to be just like Jesus every single day?
i learnt this from children's church...there are 2 kinds of christians: 1) the CEO christians
2) the WORLD-CLASS
christians.
what are they? COE christians are "Christmas, Easter Only" christians. This means that they onli celebrate christmas and easter they do not really do anything else...they are onli concerned with wordly affairs and are materialistic.
The second type of christians are those who are spiritually weak and look upon God and his ways to do things according to God's will and obey according to his word. They look more upon their spirit then the world.
You know, Pastor Ronald ever preach about the topic on christians, and his main point is that christians should have a certain characteristic of a christian to be called one. If a christian is seen as being any other non-christian, he/she shouldn't even be called a christian! they are onli christians by name! whats the point?! God doesn't even reconignse it! They are not suppose to even be christians!
Then my friend on msn said, then there won't be many christians in this world left if you exclude the worldly christians.
At that point of time i really don't know how and what to answer her....but i said no, still got alot what...but i couldn't even persuade and convince myself with my own answer because i got many friends who are like that.
Indeed, if you cancel out all those so called christians, there ain't many left. However, tiffany told me that it is not about the numbers! even if there are like very little but they are faithful and are WORLD-CLASS, it has no link with the no.s. As long as we as christians do our part, i am sure we can change the world!
Do you want to be a COE or a WORLD-CLASS christian..it is your choice!
One major difference between a non-christian and a christian is that a christian has the holy spirit which is a gift from God. Once jesus christ leave this world, he asked God through his name to provide his children with a helper, which is the holy spirit=) john chap 14 verse 16 "And i will pray the father, and He will give you another Helper." and verse 26 "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit...."
Oh! you should go and hear about gurmit singh's testimonial! i think it is really amazing as to how God touched his life through the miracle of his mother! (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) oh! btw, he's whole family in my church!! Grace assembly rocks!!!

ARGHHH!! you know what!! i just now try to publish a super long post and it just disappeared just like that!! Haiz..now i got to retype! but i will cut things short la.. i wanna tell you that the reason why i want to create a blog now is to provide help and encouragement to those who really in need to help both christians and non-christians...i really would advice you to turn to God..cause he can really help you in ways that no other person can ever help you! you will never know unless you try...
oh!! you know, i set up a PRAYER GROUP in cjc!!! like finally!!! it consists of ivan, tiffany, judith and me!! and we are all from grace assembly!! although it has only 4 ppl, but i am sure that as long as we pray, by God's grace, God's kingdom in CJC can be expanded!!! cause a revival is already starting in RJC! YEAH!!can't wait to do evengelism in cj!!

oh!! you know, my OP(oral presentation) is coming soon!! and you know i am like super duper scared of presentations one!!it is like my greatest fear for now! i ever once got too scared until i squat down and cover my ears in front of everyone!! haiz..i guess i will just have to leave everything to God lor...he can do wonders!! oh! for all those christians who read this, pls pls pray for me k?=)
sometimes i feel that the closer i get to God, i will tend to drift away from non-christian friends, i feel that i don feel as happy and that there is a barrier between us...cause it is like the christian songs that i listen to, the verses that i read in the bible, it is very difficult to tell them you see, cause they won't be interested and i won't feel as comfortable as before when i am amongst them...
hmmm...i really cannot understand some people, why they have to use certain words? like "i swear!, oh my God!, damn, fuck...etc" it really hurts me when i hear these words! it just totally cuts off the convo! i don't understand! there are like so many words to replace those...
These two weeks i have been trying to share the gospel with my close friends like those from SA during the PAE, wen rong, xin ying, kaiyuan( especially kai yuan cause i have been sharing it with him dunno since when) oh! and my father! Through the encouragement given by my church friends like kenneth, caleb and tiffany, i come to realise that it is not about how eloquent i speak nor about how good i am to persuade ppl, it is all about whether God wants to touch their hearts annot...
haiz..sometimes i just feel like praying that my non-christian friends will just face some major problem in life so that they will be so desperate that they will really need and seek for God. (very evil right?)
i can like literally see my friends in hell screaming for my help! but by the time it is like too late already...do not wait or have second thoughts about sharing the gospel! cause it is really impt as you do not know when the person will actually die and i am sure for us christians, you wouldn't want your friends to be in hell and scream " why didn't you tell me! why!!"
i would really like to thank God for providing me with my bestest of the best friend ever since sec 3!! she is no other then LENG SHAN!! i really really love her alot!! she provided me with the encouraging and super long mesaages and is always there especially during my promos! i am sure that she will always be my bestest friend like forever because we have God! friendships with God is everlasting! we ever drift away before, but through God, we became closer then ever!!
i would also like to thank God for my other good church friends like tiffany cause i really think that God provided her for me! He must have known that i needed help in the class! also, for Grace lum, she is like so nice! and she ever said she will always be there for me=) (very touching right?) also for people like phui see, edith, cheryl and most importantly, elo!!! cause she has been there when i most needed her in preteens!! thank you so so much (for everyone). They are like the best!! i feel so so so super blessed!!
i dunno...but i feel that in my CJ class clique, i feel that we are so shallow...sometimes, i really want to have a heart to heart talk...not just being friends on the surface...haiz..But i would still like to thank them for being my friends and being nice to me=)
oh!! i wanna share with you all something...ask you, do you know why are there so much corruption in this world? because right, in the beginning, God gave adam and eve the authority to govern over the earth. However, since they listened to the serpent (satan), part of this authority is passed on to satan! thats why he have some control over the earth!! leading to corruption!! haha make sense?
Since God is love, must always rmb that if you really love God, you would love EVERYONE!!cause God loves everyone!
lastly, i would like to share with everyone one verse from 1 corinthians, chap 1, verse 27 "But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty" and verse 28 "the things which are despised God has chosen" thats why he is such a loving God! if you admit you are weak in spirit and cannot live without God, you are STRONG in him! you will recieve gifts beyond your imagination!!
oh! you all should go listen to songs like Jesus doesn't care, You'll come and the reason. VERY nice!!! go youtube to find or something=)
