sorry for not putting up any post for a long long long long long long long...........infinity....time...
Cause i have been busy with school, studies and stuff...haiz..
anyways, today i wanna type something not very long...

It was about a week ago when i was like bathing and singing and worshipping God.
And not long after, this week when i went back to school some of my friends were singing christian songs..i felt very comforted..cause i don really see and get to hear them sing christian songs..
But at the same time, i felt in a way sad..
Why?
because they were singing for the sake of singing..

The main reason why i love to listen and to sing christian songs is that i find it different from other normal songs...
Ever since i became a christian, i realise that i cannot sing the christian songs, songs that worship God just like any other song..
which makes the christian songs that i sing unqiue and special..

What do i mean?
do you realise that other songs you cannot really meditate on it?
To me, for the other songs, i am not singing to anyone, i am just singing for the tune, singing for practice, singing just for the sake of singing..like an empty box.
we sing those songs, we don really need to bother about the lyrics..we don't even know what we are singing at times.
But, christian songs are different...there is a recieving end not just a giving end..
There is someone that you actually sing to and praise..there is someone actually listening..
we sing for the words...
and that someone is God.

When we worship and sing, we are actually launching a spiritual warfare to declare that satan has lost and God has won!
We are proclaiming His greatness and celebrating His victory^^
Because satan was the previous worship angel, he led worship and stuff in heaven last time, when we sing praises and worship God, we are actually telling satan that we can do better and have a better worship without him.

The way we sing songs determines how nice the song will be and what the song really mean.
Songs which is sang from the heart can be differentiated from those which are sang just for singing..
Because it is different.
Do you realise that good singers are those who sing the song using their heart and soul kind?
We determine how we want the songs to be potrayed out.
A song without the heart is very meaningless to me..

I want to encourage you all that when we sing songs that worship God, let us sing it with conviction and with the heart. lets not sing songs for the sake of singing, not like the other everyday songs that you sing, or just to follow and go along with others...lets sing whole heartedly for God because he really deserve it^^

Sing for God,
Sing for Life.

Imperfections + Love

Many people convey their love message to others in someway or another...
You may or may not like the type of love that the person may shower you with,
But, they are still love..

Be it friends or family, cousins, uncles or aunties, grandma or grandpas,
They each have their own unique way to show us that they actually cares and loves us..

The reason why i am writing this is because i was reminded of my mother's love for me..
I was walking on the way home today when joseph in the midst of one of his sms, he said, "your mum is going to nag at you again.."
Because my curfew was at 11 and i only reach home at 11.20...
I started to imagine what will happen when i go home..
How my mum will just shout at me and nag, asking questions like "why you come home so late?!" in a very angry and irritated manner...
Usually my respond will be..."haiz..here she goes again..then i will pray and ask God to help me before i enter the house."
however, this time, instead of having fear and panick, i realised that she actually loves me alot.
The way she convey her concern and love for me is to reprimand me..
She actually bothers to scold me because she actually cares whether i go home annot..she actually waits and anticipates for me to go home...
She actually wants to know why...

As i was saying, different people convey their love in others ways..
My father gives me the things that i asks for,
my bro just want to irritate me,
my sis just want to offer me her listening ear and share with me things in her life regardless of whether i am listening annot..
Small little things that friends and family do to you and me,
i may not like it and find it a nuisance...but it is their own unique way of showing love, care and concern for me..
I started to think about if all these were gone and taken away from me one day, i think i will miss them...

It also shows God's love for us..
His love is conveyed to different people in a different way...their own special and unique way..
We may not like it..but it is his way of loving us..
An example is when God allowed and place trials in your life, whereby you face a moment or even moments of weaknesses, you may blame God and get angry and irritated with him..
However, if you look at it another way, God loves you thats why he wants to have a more intimate and closer relationship with you..
He loves you thats why trails come in your way so that you can learn to seek and yearn for Him..
Problems come so that you can learn to rely and surrender it all to Him..
He wants you to grow spiritually..
He wants you to grow deeper in relationship with Him..
Alot of times we are blinded by anger and we cannot see what He has planned for us..we cannot see what is ahead...
We learn to come out of that by trusting, having faith and growing in His word, holding on to His never-changing promises...

There is this advertisement on tv that has repeated alot of times...
There is this women and her husband died...
During the funeral, she gave a speech..
Instead of saying all the achievements of her husband or all the good stuff that he did,
She said the bad habits of her husband..
she say her husband snores like a motorbike trying to start the engine..
he husband farts so loud and smelly when he is asleep that he will get woken up by the sound himself...and when he wakes up, he asks his wife," what was that? what happen?"
She will say.."oh, it was the dog barking...go to sleep"
Now, when he died, no longer could she hear those sounds...and she misses them...
she said, "It was because of all these little imperfections, that made their relationship and lives perfect."

It is the same as God and us...
Even though we are sinners with several imperfections while God is perfect, God still loves us the same..
and it is because of all these imperfections that God sent down Jesus christ, His one and only son to die on the cross for us, to convey his sacrificial love..
It was only then when the veil tore and we were made whole, restoring the perfect relationship that we had with God before..
"It was because of all these imperfections that our relationship is made perfect."
Think about it.

Learn to treasure the small little things that people around you does for you..don wait until they are gone..

Success and light

It has been a long time since i ever blogged because this whole week i am not really inspired and i just feel that my passion to share to people about christ, to do street e has slowly died down...
Today, i just want to share about what was being taught in my mini retreat amongst the cj prayer group whereby we went to Jasmine's house (which is at thomson there!)-so far...anws, we went to her house from about 6 plus to about 10 plus!!
We had dinner (ta baoed KFC) then shared about stuff and our feelings towards the school evangelism that we did before going her house..
Also, we had worship and somebody from YFC (youth for christ) is invited to come speak to us...she taught us a lesson which i wanna share with you all today!! cause i feel that it was really good^^

Anws, i wanna bring you all back to last sun..
Because our church had a street e event and leng shan invited me to join in to evangelise to the people at tiong baru...
Usually i will be very enthu and really go ahead with it de..
But at the end, i said i didn't want it..
Why? i was afraid of rejections..and because God didn't show me any "success" in sharing the gospel or allowing anyone that i shared to get saved, be it friends or family members, i was kinda drained out and disappointed...hope of salvation don't really seem to be there because i don't see God working amongst the people that i love..

So, anws, i was just telling grace and leng shan last sun about how sad and disappointed i was feeling because i just wanna see 1 success, i just want God to show me that salvation actually occurs amongst my loved ones...i just want 1 salvation..but God just don't give me any despite all my prayers and stuff..
So, i was feeling kinda helpless and the 'whatever lor, nvm' feeling..
And today, God answered my problems through the lesson taught.

She talked about the Ezekiel found in the Bible..
And if you got your Bible, i would encourage you to read chapter 2 and 3.
There are some things that i want to focus on..
chapter 2 verse 3 to 5, "Son of man,' he said, 'I am sending you to the nation of Israel, a rebellious nation that has rebelled against me to this very day. They are stubborn and hard-hearted people. But i am sending you to say to them, 'This is that the Sovereign Lord says!' And whether they listen or refuse to listen-for remember, they are rebels...."

These verses show that God is sending Ezekiel to hard ground..to people who are stubborn and hard-hearted.
In chapter 3 verses 7, it is said again that "But the people of Israel won't listen to you anymore than they listen to me! For the whole lot of them are hard-hearted and stubborn."
Since it is repeated twice, it shows that it is important.

Ask you, lets just say you do street e or school e, then before hand you already know who will listen to you and who will not...lets just say you can see a label above their head..
Who will you share to?
Will you share to the people whom when you share about God's word they will not listen in the first place?

Ezekiel faced several challenges and difficulties while sharing the gospel...
He had to become this "mad man" (paul also--but paul said, if i are to be mad about God, then let it be) he had to wrap himself up and lie on one side of his body in the town square (something like city hall) for many days and then turn over the other side for many more days...he also had to dig a hole underneath the gate with all his barang barang to show the people that this will be the days in future for them when the people of babylon (people who are very cruel-how they chain the people up is to pierce a spear through the palm of one person to the other and to the other) even though he is able to walk through the door..people think he was mad..
But imagine the amount of humiliation and great lengths that he had to go to reach out to the people...

At the end, he didn't even taste success...
Success in the way whereby the israelites that he tried to share to, non of them are salvaged because at the end, the people of babylon came and capture all of them away..
But, God sees him as being successful...
In what way?
he follows God and is obedient to Him through everything..
He holds on to the promises and follow and do what God wants him to do..
The most important thing that he is deemed successful is that he walked strongly with God and trusted Him...
God will still say to him one day,"Well done, good and faithful servant."

There is one thing that one other prayer group member, marcus, shared later on..
He asked us, "what is the difference between sheep and goat? and why are we referred to as sheeps rather than goats as said in the Bible?"
"When the mama sheep jumps, the other small baby sheeps also jumps and follow the mama sheep even though they do not know what is going on and what is going to happen. they just follow. As for the goat, they are abit smarter...when the mama goat jumps, the others will stop and think whether to jump or not...and they will not follow.."
It is just like how we as children of God...as long as we stay obedient and trust and follow Him, we will not be left behind...just like how the mama sheep and goat jumps further and further away, it is up to us whether we would want to follow? or just think that we are very smart and be left behind..

It is also said in Ezekiel chapt 3 verse 9, "I have made your forehead as hard as the hardest rock! So don't be afraid of them or fear theur angry looks, even though they are rebels."
It shows that even though the people that we shared the gospel to, especially in my school, many of them have heard the gospel like alot of times..they got the head knowledge, but their hearts are hardened and may not even want to listen.
But God promises us that He will make our forehead even harder than the hardest heart!
So, we shouldn't fear about anything but really go forward and share the gospel!

In ezekiel chapt 3 verse 1-2, "The voice said to me, "Son of man, eat what i am giving you-eat this scroll!Then go give its message to the people of Israel. So i opened my mouth, and he fed me the scroll."
When i first read this verse, i was like huh? eat the scroll? why God want him to eat it?
She explained that God not only want Ezekiel (representing us) to only have the head knowledge to teach the people but to 'eat' means to allow whatever that we teach and share to others, we ourselves must also do it. Instead of mastering the word, we must let the word master us.
We must live out our lives as christians, as good representatives of the children of God.

Actually i got somemore things to share with you all de..but i think it is like too long...so yar lor..you can ask me personally!! hahaha^^

To end off, i would like to encourage you all to continue doing God's work and purpose for us to be on this earth, which is to evangelise.
We are supposed to be light and salt of the earth..whether it is in school, in class, in our family and stuff...
If we, the only light source do not shine brightly for God, who will? (instead, there will be darkness)
